Hetauda Municipality hosted the first
Hockey 5s tournaments today atPiple Kyampa stadium at Hetauda. The three day tournament started on 28th December will continue till the 30th December . 8 Mens team representing their respective municipalities are taking part in the inaugral event. The competition is planned on league Cum Knockout basis where pool leaders and runner-ups from the two pools will go on to play semifinals.
A press meet was held on the eve of the tournament where Organising Committee Chair Mr. Rajesh Sharma briefed on the preparations for the tournament. The pools were drawn in presence of Media personnel, Team Captains and Team Managers. Media personnel also had a chance to interact with Team Captains on their preparation for the tournament.
