Kirsten has been involved in hockey for over 20 years, playing, coaching, and officiating. Over the last 9 years Kirsten has attended Hockey NZ’s national tournaments as an Umpire Manager. More recently, through her development role at North Harbour Hockey, Kirsten has been through the Hockey NZ Developer pathway where she has delivered a range of courses. In 2023 Kirsten became an FIH accredited Educator. Kirsten is a trained school teacher, leaving that profession to pursue her love of hockey.
Outside of hockey Kirsten’s family keeps her busy with her husband and 2 boys aged 10 and 3. She enjoys annual camping trips, spending time at the holiday home and getting lost in a good book.
Kirsten is moving into the development area where Gill Gemming has spent the last 20 or so years! Gill continues to work for Oceania but is now concentrating on the management of the growing Hook in4 Health program.
