The NAG boys head coach Mike Williamson commented: “We have been impressed with the application and focus from all the players in the larger squad and congratulate those who made it through to the final selection.

The NAG Girls head coach Elliot Foweraker commented:
“We are really looking forward to seeing what this group can achieve in the coming weeks, they have taken on board a lot this cycle and have made really good progress. We as a collective are very proud to be representing Hockey Wales in a home European Championships and we are looking forward to playing a very physical and exciting brand of hockey for the home crowd to enjoy. “
