Today marks the start of the Under 18 Europeans B Hockey Championships hosted in Swansea.
The seven day tournament will see sides from across Europe compete to be promoted to the A division of the competition.
Swansea Bay Sports Park will host Girls and boys from Wales, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Lithuania and the Czech Republic.
Wales’ girls will start their competition at 18:15 on Sunday 9th July and the boys will start at 19:00 on Tuesday 11th July.
Alongside the exciting competition will be merchandise opportunities as well as a fun zone for participants of all ages.
Hockey Wales CEO, Paul Whapham commented: “It is so exciting to host this competitive tournament in Swansea this year. We are proud of all the work that has gone into making this event as successful as possible and I look forward to our NAGs players inspiring the next generation of Welsh Hockey players in this home showcase.”
