India: Day 1 Results: 1st Hockey India Junior and Sub Junior Women Academy Championship 2023 – (Zone A)

~Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy won in the Sub Junior category matches~

~Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) won in the Junior category matches~

Gwalior, 12th October 2023: The first day of the 1st Hockey India Junior and Sub Junior Women Academy Championship 2023 – (Zone A), saw Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy register wins in their respective matches in the Sub Junior Women’s category, while Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) emerged victorious in their respective games of the Junior Women’s category.  

In the first match of the day in the Sub Junior category, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Meghbaran Singh Hockey Academy 14-0. Tahur Naaz (11’, 26’, 35’, 39’), Bhabar Keshar (8’, 48’, 51’), Jasiya Ansari (9’, 52’), Bee Alvina (24’, 59’), Singh Shalini (35’, 58’) and Davde Sneha (60’) scored the goals for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy. 

In the second match of the Sub Junior category, Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy beat Raja Karan Hockey Academy 14-1. Dipika (8’, 17’, 38’, 39’, 57’, 58’), Nisha (19’, 29’ 60’), Tannu (2’, 54’), Durga (41’, 48’) and Priya (35’) scored the goals for Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy while Bhavika (47’) scored the lone goal for Raja Karan Hockey Academy. 

The third match of the day, which was the first match in the Junior category, saw Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat HIM Academy 13-0. Katariya Khushi (7’, 27’, 27’ 45’, 49’), Kumre Soniya (5’, 20’, 24’), Patel Sneha (38’, 56’), Swati (19’), Chanu Khaidem Shileima (43’) and Anjum Samiya (59’) scored the goals for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy. 

In the final match of the day, Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) beat Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta 7-1 in the Junior category. Megha (21’, 37’, 39’, 44’), Kaur Palak (5’, 7’) and Kaur Satvir (6’) scored for Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) while Kaur Kamalpreet (43’) scored the lone goal for Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta.
