Buckingham will replace Repton as England’s representatives in the Womens’ European Indoor Club Cup in Turkey in February 2024. Repton, who defeated Buckingham in the 2023 Super 6s final have declined to take up the place. EuroHockey have agreed to this change.
Buckingham, previously played in the European Indoor Trophy in Turkey in 2022 as Super 6s champions in 2020. Kevin Mayles, Ladies Head Coach from the club said: “We are delighted, excited and incredibly proud to take this opportunity to play indoors in Europe as England’s representatives again.
“With just over four months until the tournament we are embarking on fundraising to support the trip and would welcome any assistance from the hockey family.”
