In the first seminal, Superior University beat Punjab University 3-2 and in the second semi final, University of Central Punjab beat University of Managment and Technology. The honourable chief guests were Ghulam Ghous(Director Coaching and Development Asian Hockey Federation), Khawaja Junaid(Former Olympian and focal person of Prime Minister Youth Programme), Former Director Sports MAO collage Akhter Mumtaz Butt, Director Sports UCP Arshad Sattar, DG UMT Abid Sherwani, Director Sports Punjab university Zubair Butt, Director Sports Education Zafar Sherwani, Former Olympian Tariq Imran, Former international Muhammed Shahid, International Player Kashif Ali, Iftikhar Butt, Qaiser Sheikh and Rameez Chishty.
