Hockeyroo Rebecca Greiner did not nominate to the squad, choosing to play hockey in the European leagues following the Paris Olympics.

Whilst the Men’s Squad has included a mixture of young guns in Tom Campbell, Kyle Jeffery-Prestwich, and Tyler Spry, and a seasoned goalkeeper in Matthew Finn.

Last year, the Brisbane Blaze brought home all 3 trophies on offer and will be the Club to beat.

The squads will begin their training block shortly, with a pre-season trip to Darwin in late September where the Blaze will take on the NT Stingers.

The first home game is in Round 3 against the Canberra Chill and will be a rematch of the 2024 Women’s Grand Final, and held at the State Hockey Centre in Brisbane.
