Australia:
Hockey Australia has named a 14-strong National Men’s Development Squad, loaded with experience, showcasing hockey’s immense depth at the highest level in 2025.
Five athletes with Kookaburras experience are included in the squad, which will continue to be developed in line with the High-Performance program.
The group also showcases the success of hockey’s player pathway program, with all 14 athletes having had previous experience competing in Hockey Australia’s suite of National Championships.
The National Championships allow the best players from every state and territory to compete from Under 14s, through Under-16’s, Under-18’s to Under-21’s, before players are considered for the National Under 21 sides, the Jillaroos and Burras, and on to the National Men’s Development Squad, ahead of Kookaburras selection.
Hockey Australia would like to congratulate all 14 men selected in the 2025 National Men’s Development Squad.
