Rotterdam’s men have strengthened their squad with an old acquaintance a week before the league kick-off. HGC defender Vincent Langenhuijsen, a former youth player of the club, returns to the old nest.
Langenhuijsen played last season with HGC in the Promotieklasse, after the club was relegated from the Tulp Hoofdklasse in the summer of 2024. Previously, the experienced defender was active for Tilburg. Langenhuijsen lives and works in Rotterdam, which positively influenced his move to last season’s number five.
After Nick van Trigt (coming from Klein Zwitserland), Langenhuijsen is the second reinforcement for Rotterdam, which also said goodbye to club icon Jeroen Hertzberger, Jochem Bakker, Jesse van Minde and Guus van Holten.
