Orée will make their EHL Men’s debut next season at ROUND1 as they won the playoff against Gantoise last Saturday 4-1.
They took full advantage against a side shy the services of Antoine Kina, Maico Casella, Jaime Carr and Sean Murray, coming from a goal down to claim the win.
The Ghent side did take the lead through Thomas Vander Gracht ‘s goal in the 20th minute but Martin Ferreiro levelled things up from a penalty stroke.
Then came the golden spell with Lautaro Domene scoring twice in as many minutes and then Luca Masso made it 4-1 in the 56th minute.
It will be the first time since 2022 that Gent have failed to qualify for the prestigious European competition.
On the Brussels side, it will be a much changed side who line out in the EHL next season as it was the last match for Philippe Simar (White Star), Vincent Vanasch (Léopold), Dorian Thiery (Racing), Lautaro Domene (Waterloo Ducks) and Luca Masso (retirement).
