India: Hero Men’s Asia Cup Rajgir, Bihar 2025 to be Broadcast LIVE on Sony Pictures Networks India

New Delhi, 13th August 2025: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has acquired the TV and digital broadcast rights for the Hero Men’s Asia Cup Rajgir, Bihar 2025, ensuring fans across the country can witness the continent’s top hockey nations compete for continental supremacy.

The 12th edition of the prestigious tournament will be held from 29th August to 7th September, 2025 at the recently developed Rajgir Hockey Stadium, a world-class venue that underscores India’s investment in sports infrastructure and Bihar’s rising prominence as a sporting hub. The event follows the successful hosting of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024, where India emerged victorious.

With a direct qualification spot for the 2026 FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup, to be held in Belgium and the Netherlands, up for grabs, the tournament promises intense competition and high-stakes drama.

Defending champions, South Korea is the most successful team in the tournament’s history with five titles (1994, 1999, 2009, 2013, 2022) followed by the hosts, India, who have won the trophy three times.
