EHL champions SCHC have announced two major additions for next season with Belgian stars Camille Belis (21) and Louise Dewaet (20) joining from Braxgata.
Despite their young age, both are experienced internationals already with 65 and 33 caps respectively.
Jayant Kaulesar Sukul, SCHC Board Member for Elite Hockey, said in a press release that he is pleased with the international reinforcements.
“We are pleased to be able to add these young players, who already possess the necessary international experience, to our squad.
“They have a distinctly different profile compared to the young talents progressing through our own academy. A clear addition and reinforcement to the team, for now and in the future.”
They are among a number of notable movements this week in the transfer market
Jaïr van der Horst and Pim Haring will both return to men’s Hoofdklasse leaders Oranje-Rood next season. The former 29-year-old forward joins from Den Bosch where he has played since 2021.
With this move, the thirteen-time international completes his hockey circle. He began his career at the Eindhoven club before moving via Atlètic Terrassa and Tilburg before ending up back in the capital of Brabant.
Haring is also no stranger to Eindhoven. The 23-year-old defender went through the youth academy at OR and played three seasons in the first team.
In recent years, he played for Tilburg, where his penalty corner stood out.
Head coach Ageeth Boomgaardt stated in a press release: “Pim is a player with a lot of drive and discipline. He has developed strongly over the past few years and brings not only defensive stability but also scoring ability.”
Elsewhere, Dylan Lucieer will play for Kampong next season, the 22-year-old forward joining from Rotterdam, where he has spent his entire hockey life to date.
