The squad will play a three game capped series at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club between the 29th June and 2nd July as part of their preparation for the EuroHockey Championship I, Men in July.

Wales, who currently sit 15th in the World will be looking to challenge their Irish counterparts who sit two spaces ahead of them at 13th.

The side will be co-captained by Luke Hawker and Rupert Shipperely.

There will potentially be some significant milestones to celebrate for the side during the trip as first Senior international caps will be in contention for Jonny Fleck, Owen Sutton, Mike Wood.

Rhys Bradshaw will also be eligible to celebrate 50 Welsh caps, with GB player and captain Rupert Shipperley in line to celebrate 100 Welsh caps.
