Gwalior, 16th October 2023: The fifth day of the 1st Hockey India Junior and Sub Junior Women Academy Championship 2023 – (Zone A), saw Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Meghbaran Singh Hockey Academy winning their respective matches in the Sub Junior Women’s category while Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and HIM Academy emerged victorious in their respective games in the Junior Women’s category.
In the first match of the day in the Sub Junior category, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Khalsa Hockey Academy (Amritsar) 16-0. Singh Paridhi (15’, 26’, 35’), Bhoomi (23’, 42’, 44’), Bee Alvina (6’, 17’), Jasiya Ansari (8’, 55’), Tahur Naaz (11’, 24’), Singh Shalini (2’), Bamaniya Shivani (31’), Parmar Khwaish (52’) and Barasiya Shivani (57’) scored the goals for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy.
The second match of the Sub Junior category saw Meghbaran Singh Hockey Academy beat Raja Karan Hockey Academy 4-1. Sagar Manshi (25’, 48’), Rajbhar Ragini (53’) and Tiwari Ranu (56’) scored for Meghbaran Singh Hockey Academy while Tanisha (10’) scored the lone goal for Raja Karan Hockey Academy.
The third match of the day, which was the first match in the Junior category, saw Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Salute Hockey Academy 8-0. Katariya Khushi (13’, 16’, 35’), Gurmail Kaur (33’, 48’), Captain Kumre Soniya (15’), Swati (22’) and Gupta Palak (43’) scored the goals for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy.
In the final match of the day, HIM Academy beat Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta 5-0. Devi Reemu (12’, 15’), Captain Varsha (3’), Sheetal (18’) and Niharika (50’) were the goal scorers for HIM Academy.
