The National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II coaches poll remains steady in week four.
Only three teams saw movement on the national list: Bloomsburg moved up one spot, West Chester moved down one, and Saint Anselm College joined it. The poll was published Tuesday.
Shippensburg, which sits at No. 1, has a perfect record at 9-0. The team has collectively scored 40 goals and has only accounted for two scored against. Kutztown is one game behind the Raiders, having only lost to them, scoring 29 goals and only allowing nine goals against.
According to the NFHCA, “The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II Coaches Poll is a composite ranking of the top 10 teams with a .500 or better record in the nation each week. Each Division II team with an NFHCA member coach is permitted one vote for the ranking each week.
Polls are announced every Tuesday during the field hockey playing season.
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on selection to the NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship.”
