Like last week, another jam-packed field hockey weekend is upon us. Tonight it begins with the third day of play in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Dames. A day later the second round of the Silver Cup Men follows and Saturday night the men’s topper between Oranje-Rood and Amsterdam is on the program. Sunday concludes the weekend with games in the Tulip Hoofdklasse and Promotieklasse.
On Thursday night, six matches in the women’s competition are scheduled. The highlights can be seen from 8:20 p.m. on the switch program The Switch on Viaplay. The top match Amsterdam-Kampong in Wagener Stadium will be broadcast live from 20:25. Field hockey.nl is present at the Brabant derby in Tilburg, where the home team takes on Oranje-Rood. Both teams are still scoreless after two games.
After the second round of the men’s Silver Cup, with teams from the Third and Fourth Division, attention shifts Saturday to the Tulip big league again. There, leading men’s team Oranje-Rood meets reigning champion Amsterdam. Schedule Tulip League Ladies third round
On Sunday, Viaplay pays extra attention to the double over Hurley. The ladies of the Owls receive SCHC, while the men take on Bloemendaal. The highlights of these matches and all other big league duels can be seen in The Switch from 12.35 pm. Field hockey.nl travels to The Hague that day for HDM’s double: the ladies play Tilburg and the men meet Laren.
