~ India remained unbeaten on their tour ~
Stellenbosch, 12th December 2025: India remained unbeaten on their South Africa tour, which comprised two Test matches and one friendly. India defeated South Africa 5–2 in the opening Test to take a 1–0 lead, while the second Test ended in a 2–2 draw. The team capped off the tour with a strong 4–1 victory in the friendly match.

In the first Test, played on 7th December, South Africa opened the scoring through Mustaphaa Cassiem (4’), but India responded quickly with goals from Shilanand Lakra (12’) and Aditya Arjun Lalage (14’) to take the lead. Viwe Mbata (39’) equalised for the hosts before Amit Rohidas (48’) put India ahead again. Captain Harmanpreet Singh (53’) extended the advantage, and Dilpreet Singh (55’) sealed the win.
In the second Test, which was played on 8th December, Captain Harmanpreet Singh (4’, 49’) scored a brace to secure a draw, cancelling out goals from South Africa’s Dayaan Cassiem (31’) and Hans Neethling (37’), who had given the Proteas the lead until the 37th minute.
On 10th December, India closed the tour on a high with a 4–1 win in a friendly game, courtesy of goals from Sukhjeet Singh, Amit Rohidas, Hardik Singh, and Mandeep Singh.
