Switzerland’s men and Scotland’s women have been confirmed as the final nations to receive a place in next season’s Euro Hockey League following confirmation of the latest EHL Ranking Table.
Men
Grasshopper Club Zürich’s gold medal at the EuroHockey Club Trophy II in Rome was enough to see their country move up to 10th in the Ranking Table.
It means Switzerland will have a place in EHL Men ROUND1 next October along with one team from the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Austria and Czechia as well as two from France.
Overall, the top seven nations remained the same while Scotland moved up one place to eighth, swapping with Austria who are now ninth. Switzerlands moved above Czechia in 11th.
Outside of the EHL positions, Wales made the big move from 15th to 12th thanks to Cardiff & Met’s gold medal in Trophy I in Vienna.

Indeed, those successes have combined to see Scotland rise to sixth place above Ireland in the Ranking Table.
A French club will make their EHL debut next season with the country now occupying eighth place with Czechia dropping to 10th overall.
