Australia:
The Under-14 National Championships are set to descend on sunny Perth for six days of action with hundreds of kids ready to battle it out for the first under-14 national titles on offer in Australia.
Appearing on Hockey Australia’s suite of national championships for the first time, the Under-14 Championships will showcase 24 girls and boys teams full of budding competitive hockey players representing their state and territory on the sports High-Performance player pathway system.
Split across two venues Melville Toyota Stadium and WA’s home of hockey Perth Hockey Stadium, the usual venue for the sport’s top national teams, the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos will make way for the next Kookas and Roos competing for the coveted new U14 National crown.
It’s at this competition where the sport’s next hockey stars get to experience the thrill of interstate competition for the first time while having fun, making new friends and refining their hockey skills.
We encourage everyone to enjoy the beautiful city of Perth in WA while visiting from out of town or if you’re across the country you can tune in and catch all the action live on LiveHockey.org.au.
This event is proudly supported by Tourism WA, the tourism and major events agency for the WA Government.
