Surbiton cruised into the FINAL8 as they picked off an 8-0 win over debutantes Slavia Prague, starting off their week in confident fashion.
The Czech newcomers held up well for most of the first quarter before Darcy Bourne finally found a way to unlock their defences with a low penalty corner drag-flick.
From there, the London club raced away with Isabelle Yonge firing into the top corner following an excellent through-ball and Erica Sanders completed the first half scoring.
Further goals from Bourne, Sanders and a double from Meg Dowthwaite stretched the lead to 7-0 before Martha Taylor got the eighth in the closing minutes.
