Women’s Premier Division Round-Up | 03 October 2026
The Women’s Premier Division fixtures produced emphatic home wins for Wimbledon and Surbiton, while Bowdon, Durham University and University of Birmingham all collected victories on the road.
In the 12:00 match, Bowdon won 2-1 at Buckingham despite Kirsty Freshwater converting a 48th-minute penalty corner for the hosts. Margot Willis opened the scoring from a third-minute field goal and Alice Midgley scored her first Bowdon goal that gave the visitors a two goal lead going into half-time.
Teddington claimed their first ever Premier Division victory with a 2-1 win over Reading. Katie Curtis gave the hosts an early lead within six minutes, while Millie Attwell converted a 50th-minute penalty stroke to double Teddington’s lead. Isabelle Howell scored a consolation penalty corner for Reading in the 59th minute.
Elsewhere, Nicole Poulakis’ 14th-minute field goal gave Durham University a 1-0 win at East Grinstead. The University of Birmingham also won 1-0 at Hampstead & Westminster through Caitlin Witham’s 59th-minute penalty corner. Both university teams open the new season with a perfect start and six points.
Wimbledon recorded the biggest victory of the round, beating the University of Nottingham 6-0. Maddie Long opened the scoring in the second minute, Charlotte Watson struck in the 11th before Olivia Chilton scored twice in the 14th and 20th-minute. Anna Toman converted a 39th-minute penalty corner before Becky Manton completed the scoring with a 65th-minute field goal.
Surbiton continued their strong start to the season with a 4-1 win over Loughborough Students. Bethany Gardens gave Loughborough an early lead with a sixth-minute field goal, but Maddie Axford levelled in the 20th-minute and Darcy Bourne put Surbiton ahead in the 34th. Georgie Gardens converted a 37th-minute penalty corner before Izzy Petter completed the scoring with a field goal in the 49th minute.
The six matches produced three home wins and three away wins, with Wimbledon setting the attacking benchmark through their six-goal display.


Open/Men’s Premier Division Round-Up | 03 October 2026
An entertaining round of Men’s Premier Division fixtures produced 31 goals across six matches, with Wimbledon delivering a standout performance in a 6-1 victory over Oxted. Fred Newbold scored three, while Ali Empey, Duncan Scott and Jules Bournac also found the net.
Old Georgians were equally emphatic, winning 6-1 away to Hampstead & Westminster as Sam Ward struck twice to give the reigning champions their first three-points of the new campaign.
East Grinstead beat Reading 4-2, to continue their perfect start to the season, with goals from Malachi Hayes. Max Lowrey and Ben Galloway after Simon Faulkner’s early penalty stroke.
Beeston managed to pick up three points against Bowdon with a 3-2 victory, with Rana Ashraf’s quick double within the first three minutes followed by William Prentice’s 25th-minute decisive strike.
Elsewhere, University of Exeter won 2-1 at Cardiff & Met with two late goals from the visitors to improve their record to two wins out of two to open their return to the Premier Division.
Surbiton recorded the same scoreline away to Holcombe, with Nick Bandurak scoring twice in the third and 63rd-minute after a Teague Marcano 62nd-minute field goal for the hosts.
Wimbledon and Old Georgians finished as the round’s joint-highest scorers with six goals apiece, while East Grinstead and Wimbledon were the only home sides to win.
