England: International Officiating

england international officiating 691c7d8f894d3 - England: International Officiating - For those wishing to progress to the international arena, there are numerous opportunities to officiate at Masters tournaments within the UK, Europe and further afield. These are self-funded events but provide a great arena to hone your technical officiating skills and are often led by extremely experienced technical officials. Indeed, this year many of our EH and international officials have been involved in World Masters Hockey tournaments in the UK, Europe and further afield.  We are fortunate that Nottingham will be the venue for the World Indoor Masters again at the end of March.

Where England hosts international events there are also opportunities to officiate at an international level.  Last season Surbiton Hockey Club hosted the knockout rounds of the EHL and Tonbridge School was the venue for the Boys U16 and Girls U18 Invitational International events.  These are great opportunities, and we even got to see David Cooper participate in a match as a technical official for the shoot outs whilst son Charlie Cooper was umpiring.
