Gwalior, 26th September 2023: SAI BAL, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, HAR Hockey Academy, SAI Shakti, Salute Hockey Academy and Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat were victorious in their respective Pool matches on day 7 of the 3rd Khelo India Junior Women’s Hockey League 2023 (Finals) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
In the first match of the day which was a Pool A encounter, SAI BAL beat HIM Academy 2-0. Dechamma PG (10’) and Captain Sanjana Horo (57’) scored the goals for SAI BAL.
In the second Pool A match of the day, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta 16-0. For Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, Aanchal Sahu (6’, 7’, 33’), Karmanpreet Kaur (11’, 20’, 41’), Lovedeep Kaur Gill (14’, 19’, 58’), Swati (39’, 52’, 55’), Khushi Katariya (43’, 59’), Amanpreet Kaur (27’) and Khaidem Shaileima Chanu (28’) scored the goals.
In the third match of the day, HAR Hockey Academy beat Round Glass Punjab Hockey Club Academy 2-0. Bhetri (10’, 48’) scored the goals for HAR Hockey Academy.
In the fourth match of the day, which was a Pool B encounter, SAI Shakti beat Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy 11-1. Sukhveer Kaur (30’, 39’), Nidhi (43’, 52’), Z Laldintlaungi (7’), Ritika Mann (9’), Ritika (12’), Sunita Kumari (13’), Selestina Horo (19’), Nandini (31’) and Lalrinpuii (52’) scored the goals for SAI Shakti while Sushila Pawar (60’) scored the lone goal for Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy.
In the fifth match of the day, Salute Hockey Academy beat Citizen Hockey XI 2-1. Pooja (14’) and Rekha (36′) scored the goals for Salute Hockey Academy while Sneha Patel (18′) scored for Citizen Hockey XI.
In the final match of the day, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat beat Republican Sports Club 3-0. The goal scorers for Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat were Diksha (3′), Khushi (12′) and Dinika (36′).
