The Oceanaia Indoor World Cup Qualifier was held in Canberra this week from 24-26 June as a 3 match series. Australia and NZ sent strong men’s and women’s teams in what was proven to be a well fought event. The women’s series was a tight battle with Australia qualifying. Thier 1 nil win on the first night proved to be the decider as NZ fought back and held Australia to 3 all draws on both subsequent nights. Australia men qualified after winning all 2 out of the 3 matches against NZ. NZ men fought back in game 3 to end with a 3-2 win.
