MEN DRAW WITH ARGENTINA, LOSE SHOOTOUT
In a thrilling encounter in Antwerp, the Vantage Black Sticks Men displayed a much improved performance to draw 2-2 against Argentina, a dramatic improvement following their recent 6-1 defeat to the same team a couple of days earlier. However, the final result shifted to Argentina’s favor as they managed to clinch the shootout 4-2, earning the bonus point.
The first quarter saw a reinvigorated Black Sticks side presenting their best performance yet. A change of pace was visible right from the start.
