england across the ehl week nine 6926fb7316180 - England: Across the EHL | Week Nine - It was a good weekend for Womens Division One North leaders Buckingham who not only won but also saw their nearest rivals all drop points to leave then seven points clear at the top. Goals from Caitlin Ralls and Sophia Crawshay gave them a 2-0 win at Beeston who could have moved to within two points of Buckingham had the result been reversed. Second placed Gloucester City were beaten 5-1 at Sutton Coldfield, where Emma McCabe netted a hat-trick, Third placed Loughborough Students 2s were held 1-1 at Pendle Forest. Ben Rhydding moved off the foot of the table with a 1-0 win at Olton & West Warwicks who replace them in tenth. They also go above Repton, beaten 4-0 at home by Leeds who went above them in the process too.  Division One South leaders Teddington beat Holcombe 3-0. Olivia D’Castro, Miri Maroney and Gemma Croker scored their goals which mean they stay top whilst Holcombe are now eight points behind them in fourth. Exeter University trail Teddington on goal difference after their 4-1 home win against Southgate. Reading 2s move up to third thanks to a 2-1 win at Surbiton 2s. At the other end of the table Guildford stay ninth after their 3-2 home reverse against Bristol Firebrands. Bottom of the table Harleston Magpies came close to a first point but ended up beaten 2-1 at home by Sevenoaks.  Conference West leaders Cardiff & Met were beaten for the first time, with Lansdown winning 1-0 in Wales  thanks to an Anna Payne goal. Lansdown move to within two points of the top. Team Bath Buccaneers are a point further back thanks to their 3-1 defeat of Slough, Tabitha Tinniswood scoring two of their goals. Fourth placed Oxford University won 1-0 at bottom of the table Exeter who also saw Clifton Robinsons 2s, level on points with them before Saturday, beat Trojans 2-1. Clifton go above Slough and Cheltenham, who lost 3-2 at Marlow.  It was all change at the top of Conference North where Bowdon 2s, leaders going into Saturday’s games were beaten for the first time, 1-0 at home by Newcastle University. Merle Kal scored the only goal and the result puts Newcastle level on 22 points with Bowdon but above them on goal difference. Alderley Edge are top, also on the same points, after their 4-1 win at Shefield, Amelie Long netting a treble. There were narrow losses for the bottom two with Didsbury Northern losing 1-0 at Kirkby Stephen and Wakefield going down by the same scoreline at home to Fylde. Isabelle Moriarty hit a hat-trick in Durham University 2s 5-0 win at Whitley Bay & Tynemouth.  The top three teams in Conference Midlands all drew. Top of the table Cambridge City were held to a 2-2 draw at home by third placed Leicester City. Birmingham University 2s in second drew 1-1 with ninth placed Nottingham Trent University. These results allowed St Albans to move within five points of the top after their 4-1 win at home to Cannock. Millie Ely scored twice as Cambridge University beat Stourport 4-3, holding on after netting four goals in the first 25 minutes.   Oxford Hawks beat bottom of the table Harleston Magpies 2s 9-0 with Eloise Ward bagging a double hat-trick and Ruby Jamieson keeping her third successive clean sheet..   Only eight goals were scored in Conference East with no games decided by more than one goal. Spencer stay top after a 1-0 win at Old Georgians, Kathryn Meenan scoring the only goal. Hampstead & Westminster 2s are a point back after a win by the same scoreline at Wapping. Old Loughtonians are a place and a point further back thanks to their 2-1 win at Wimbledon 2s. The bottom two met at Barnes 2 where Guildford 2 took the points in a 1-0 win to move up to eighth. The only game not to see an away win was Canterbury - London Wayfarers which ended 1-1.         WHL Top Scorers and Clean Sheets – 22 November 2025
