EHL: Münchner SC celebrate EHL U14 Girls success

Münchner SC won the ABN AMRO EHL U14 Girls title in stunning fashion as they backed up their performances on day one with contrasting wins over Klein Zwitzerland and Real Club de Polo.

They were taken the distance by KZ in the semi-final, going to a shoot-out after Neele Löser and Emilie Duijndam exchanging goals in normal time. In sudden death, Anna Bauer got the crucial goal for a 4-3 success.

Polo, meanwhile, reached the final with a 1-0 win against Surbiton thanks to an Inez Fabregas goal in the ninth minute.

In the decider, the German side made the dream start with Linda Overbeck scoring in the first minute before Bauer added two more before half-time.

Matilda Massem made it four; Polo got one back through Lucia Romero but Munich finished as they started with Löser making it 5-1.

Surbiton won the bronze medal with a 2-1 success against KZ while Den Bosch took fifth place overall with a 2-1 against Braxgata.
