Eight international umpires, including two who officiated the Paris Olympic Games and the 2024 FIH Umpire of the Year, are among a 17-strong officiating team announced for the Liberty Hockey One League Finals Series.

Ipswich umpire Steve Rogers, who was recently awarded the sport’s highest honour as 2024 FIH Umpire of the Year, will lead the umpire cohort, which also boasts a wealth of experience including, Paris Olympian umpire Zeke Newman and FIH Leading Umpires James Unkles and Kristy Robertson.
Tassie’s Launceston local Jayden Pearson will make his finals debut in front of friends and family in Hobart. While Hockey 5’s international umpire Iris Milham has also received her first finals call-up at just 22 years of age, after a stellar 2024 Liberty Hockey One League regular season.
Led by Paris Olympic Games Technical Official Joshua Burton as Tournament Director, the team will officiate the semi-finals on Saturday 30 November, before a final squad is narrowed down for the bronze medal matches and the grand finals on Sunday.
