Bloemendaal Heren 2 also left no doubt in the final about who was the strongest. Defending champion HDM Heren 3 was beaten 3-4, thanks in part to two goals by Freek Martens. Both teams had the necessary (former) top players at their disposal, including Robbert van de Peppel (World Cup gold in 2015), Timmo Kranstauber (World Cup gold in 2015), Pelle Vos (ex-Bloemendaal and HGC, now Laren) and goalkeeper Matthijs Odekerken (ex-SCHC).
