After the hectic Pro League nine days at Wagener Stadium, the Orange women are enjoying a little break. The Dutch, on the other hand, flew to England on Monday for their last two matches in the Nations League: on Tuesday and Wednesday against England.
National coach Jeroen Delmée’s team will face the English on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. (Dutch time) at the Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre in London. One day later, the match between the two countries starts at 9 p.m. (Dutch time). Both duels can be followed live via a live stream on NOS.nl, in the NOS app and via the NOS Live app. The latter stream can be found for Ziggo customers on channel 160.
Dutch leader
The Netherlands is currently leading the rankings in the Pro League, although the score is quite distorted because of the different number of matches the countries have played. It is better to look at the number of points lost. This shows that Belgium is currently in the best position with eleven loss points, one less than the Dutch, Germany and Australia. England has thirteen loss points after ten games, so they also still have a chance at the final victory in the sixth Pro League season, as does Spain (fifteen loss points). That is no longer the case for Argentina, India and Ireland.

Training week Oranje Dames
The Orange women are currently enjoying some relative rest. National coach Raoul Ehren’s squad is training on Thursday and Friday this week and will work through two more practices next week. Then the selection will leave for Antwerp on Thursday, June 26, where the last two games in the Pro League are scheduled for Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. The Dutch then play two games against Belgium, Ehren’s former employer, at Sportcentrum Wilrijkse Plein.
The Dutch women are the proud leaders in the Pro League with 37 points from 14 games. In theory, only Belgium and Argentina can keep the Orange from a fifth Pro League final victory in six years.
