EHL: Surbiton add Petter and Findlay to the ranks – EHL

Surbiton have announced two strong additions to their panel with double Olympian Izzy Petter and Ava Findlay joining the club.

Petter will return to Sugden Road next season following a season with German club Harvestehuder THC, making it her third stint at the club.

She came through the junior section before playing for Loughborough Students; she returned for three years between 2022 and 2025 leading into her sting in the Bundesliga

“I’m really excited to be back at Surbiton after an amazing experience playing in the Bundesliga for HTHC,” she said of the move.

“I’m really looking forward to being back with the girls and build on their incredible season just gone by defending the title and having success at EHL.”

Findlay, meanwhile, joins from Durham University after playing a starring role in their qualification for the England Hockey Finals weekend in their debut season in the Premier Division.

She made her Scottish international debut in February 2025 and helped the team qualify for this summer’s World Cup for the first time in 24 years.

“I’m excited to continue my hockey development at Surbiton, playing alongside many outstanding players,” she said of the move. “I look forward to helping the club continue to build on recent success in future seasons.”
