The line-up for the ABN AMRO EHL U14 tournaments is almost complete with the young stars of the future going for success at Pinoké on March 30th and 31st.
For the boys competition, the six team competition is finalised with Harvestehuder THC hoping to defend the title they won in 2023. They are placed in Pool A along with Real Club de Polo who won a Spanish playoff in January in Valencia as well as the 2022/23 Dutch champions hdm.
Pool B features Royal Racing Club de Bruxelles who won a playoff against Royal Léopold to earn the right to represent Belgium. Nantes will represent France for the first time in a European club competition while Old Georgians will be the English representative, debuting in the EHL U14.
On the girls side, German champions Uhlenhorst Mülheim and Spanish playoff winners Club de Campo are confirmed in Pool A. They will be joined by the winner of a playoff game to be held on March 14 between AH&BC Amsterdam and Pinoké.
Pool B has Belgian club Braxgata, England’s Surbiton and the reigning champions hdm.
All will be vying for a top two spot in the initial three team group phase on Saturday, March 30. A day later, the playoff phase takes place with four boys and four girls taking part in the semi-final phase with the third place group finishers contesting a fifth-sixth place playoff.
The competition is open for one club from each of the top six nations on the respective EHL Ranking Table. Each nation is able to determine their representative in their own way, whether by nomination, a national championship or playoff series.
