India: Day 8 Results: 2nd Khelo India Sub Junior Women’s Hockey League – Phase 2

~Jai Bharat Hockey Academy defeated Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta 4-1 ~ 

~SAI Bal Team defeated Anantpur Sports Academy 7-0~ 

~SAI Shakti Team defeated Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre 3-0~ 

New Delhi, 8th January 2024: Day 8 of the 2nd Khelo India Sub Junior Women’s Hockey League – Phase 2 witnessed Jai Bharat Hockey Academy, SAI Bal Team and SAI Shakti Team win their respective matches.  

Jai Bharat Hockey Academy records convincing win:      
In the first match of the day, Jai Bharat Hockey Academy defeated Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta 4-1. Nisha (35’, 51’) and Anita Devi (36’, 48’) scored braces for Jai Bharat Hockey Academy while the solitary goal for Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta came from the stick of Captain Rashi (59’).  

SAI Bal Team wins comfortably:      
In the second match of the day, SAI Bal Team defeated Anantpur Sports Academy 7-0. Vandana (3′, 8′) and Captain Laltlanchhungi (37′, 49′) scored braces while Shanti Horo (11′), Mutum Priya Devi (30′) and Nidhi (60′) scored a field goal each for SAI Bal Team.   

SAI Shakti Team records comprehensive win:     
In the third match of the day, SAI Shakti Team defeated Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Centre 3-0. Binati Minz (9′, 14′) scored a brace while Ravina (16′) converted a penalty corner for SAI Shakti Team as they went on to win the game without conceding any goals.
