The Liberty Hockey One League will remain live and free on 7plus Sport, with Hockey Australia and the Seven Network today announcing a long-term partnership extension.
The three-year commitment will see Seven remain the home of hockey until the end of 2027, as fans in all corners of the country witness international hockey and the next three seasons of Australia’s record-setting Liberty Hockey One League on Seven’s digital streaming platform, 7plus Sport.
Season five of the ever-growing Liberty Hockey One League will return to Australia’s screens from October to November when the eight-week season gets underway for 2025.
It follows a record-breaking 2024, during which thousands of Australians witnessed HC Melbourne and the Perth Thundersticks make history by winning the men’s and women’s crowns for the first time.
The explosive, fast-paced format completes Seven’s extensive sporting calendar, which includes all international fixtures of hockey’s men’s and women’s national teams, the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos.
