The South African Hockey Association (SAHA), through its High Performance Sub Committee, is proud to announce that applications are now open for several key roles within the South African Indoor Hockey national programmes. These positions span across both the SA Indoor Women (SAIW) and SA Indoor Men (SAIM) senior teams and represent an exciting opportunity to contribute to South Africa’s continued growth on the global indoor hockey stage.
With our national teams gaining increasing recognition—with both teams having played in semi-finals at the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cups — SA Hockey is seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced individuals to help shape the next chapter of elite indoor hockey in South Africa.
Available Positions:
SA Indoor Women (SAIW):
- Head Coach
- Assistant Coach(es)
- Team Manager
- Video Analyst
- Selectors
SA Indoor Men (SAIM):
- Head Coach
- Assistant Coach(es)
- Team Manager
- Video Analyst
- Selectors
All roles are voluntary in nature, with expenses covered. The appointments cover the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup cycle.
What We’re Looking For:
- Individuals with experience working in high-performance environments
- Coaches with SAHA Level 3 accreditation (minimum) and preferably international coaching credentials
- Managers and support staff who are highly organised, excellent communicators, and committed to SA Hockey values
- Selectors with deep knowledge of the provincial and national landscape, and strong analytical ability
