Singapore, June 15, 2024 — The China junior field hockey team showcased their dominance with a commanding 6-2 victory over Kazakhstan in the Junior AHF Cup 2024. The match, held at the Seng Kang Hockey Stadium in Singapore, highlighted China’s offensive prowess and strategic play.China started the match with high intensity, immediately putting pressure on the Kazakhstan defense. The opening goal came in the 7th minute from forward who skillfully navigated through the defense to score.The second half continued in favor of China, with the team maintaining their aggressive playstyle and strong defense. In the 40th minute, substitute player Liu Fang extended the lead to 5-1 with a well-placed shot following a swift counterattack. Kazakhstan responded with their second goal in the 45th minute, courtesy of midfielder Andrey Petrov, who finished a fine solo effort.

Oman Secures Narrow 2-1 Victory Over Iran in Junior AHF Cup 2024

Singapore, June 15, 2024 — In a tightly contested match, the Oman junior field hockey team emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Iran in the Junior AHF Cup 2024. The game, held at the Seng Kang Hockey Stadium in Singapore, showcased the resilience and determination of both teams.The first half saw both teams playing with high intensity and creating several opportunities. Oman took the lead in the 15th minute when forward  a well-executed penalty corner, giving Oman an early advantage. Iran responded with several attacking moves, but Oman’s defense, The second half began with Iran increasing their pressure in search of a goal. Their efforts paid off in the 40th minute when forward managed to find the back of the net, reducing the deficit to 2-1 with a well-placed shot

Chinese Taipei Thrashes Hong Kong China with a 7-0 Victory in Junior AHF Cup 2024

Singapore, June 15, 2024 — Chinese Taipei delivered a commanding performance to defeat Hong Kong China with an emphatic 7-0 win in the Junior AHF Cup 2024. The match, held at the Seng Kang Hockey Stadium in Singapore, showcased Chinese Taipei’s superior skill and tactical execution.

Chinese Taipei started the match with high intensity and immediately took control. The opening goal came in the 5th minute from forward Chen Wei-lun, who finished off a well-coordinated team move. The pressure from Chinese Taipei continued, and by the 15th minute, midfielder Lin Jian-hong had doubled the lead with a powerful shot from a penalty corner.

As the first half progressed, Chinese Taipei maintained their dominance. Forward Li Wei-cheng added a third goal in the 23rd minute, and just before halftime, defender Huang Yu-ting scored from another penalty corner, making it 4-0 at the break.The second half saw no let-up from Chinese Taipei. In the 35th minute, midfielder Zhang Wei-shan extended the lead to 5-0 with a well-placed shot from the top of the circle. Hong Kong China struggled to mount any significant counterattacks, finding it difficult to penetrate Chinese Taipei’s organized defense.
