We had four matches with plenty of goals and action with the crowd in attendance at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Hockey Stadium Kakamigahara.

MALAYSIA 7 VS CHINESE TAIPEI O (POOL A)

The first match of the day was between Malaysia and Chinese Taipei. The yellow team was making its debut in this tournament, while Chinese Taipei played its second match of the tournament.

The team coached by HASSAN Lailin imposed the rhythm of the match from the first minute of play, with an experienced team that wanted to start the tournament on the right foot.

On the other hand, LIU Kuo-Chien’s team wanted to get their first victory in this edition but could not achieve it as Malaysia managed to score seven goals throughout the match scored by MOHAMMED Nur, YUSSAINI Nur x2, SHAIKH Siti x2, AZMAN Nurul and JAMES Thibatharshini.

Chinese Taipei had some chances but could not convert in the opponent’s goal.

The girls in yellow hope to repeat this result against India which promises to be a match with a lot of adrenaline tomorrow June 5th. Chinese Taipei will be looking for their first win against Uzbekistan.

The best player of the match was GURDIP Kirandeep.

 

KOREA 13 VS UZBEKISTAN 0 (POOL A)

The second match of the day was between Korea and Uzbekistan in Pool A, first in the standings against last.

Korea knew they had to play a smart game to beat the Uzbek team and try to score as many goals as possible.

The girls in blue tried to have shots at Korea’s goal but were unsuccessful in any of their attempts. Although they were able to develop a good game, they could not balance the balance of a Korean team that gave no respite.

KIM Seong Eun’s team scored thirteen goals by AN Sujin x3, LEE Yujin, JEONG Saena x3, PARK Seoyeon x2, CHOI Sara,CHOI Jiyun,LEE Seoyeon, and PARK Mihyang.

With this result, Korea achieved the first place partially, and will seek to maintain that streak against India. On the other hand, MUTALAPOVA Liliya’s team will be looking for their first win against Chinese Taipei.

KAZAKHSTAN 3 VS HONG KONG CHINA 0 (POOL B)

Pool B began to sort out the positions in the table, with the Kazakhstan team that achieved in its debut the first victory of the tournament.

Hong Kong China tried to look for spaces and be offensive against a tough opponent but could not break the yellow team that wanted to start this tournament with the best possible energy.

The first goal was scored in the 23rd minute by BEISENBAY Balzhan to open the door to victory for her team. BEIBITOV Nurzhan’s team managed to score two more goals, both scored by LYAPINA Viktoriya who sealed the victory for her team.

On the other hand, ARIFALI’s team accumulated its second defeat and will be looking for a win against Indonesia tomorrow, June 5.

The girls in yellow will look for another victory against China and position themselves as high as possible in Pool B.

The best player of the match was LYAPINA Viktoriya who scored two goals to give her team its first victory.

JAPAN 21 VS INDONESIA 0 (POOL B)

The last match of the day was between Japan and Indonesia. The local team played its second game in its stadium and with its people accumulating a second victory, while Indonesia could not with the experience and great game of Japan.

The girls in white tried to stop the red machine but could not prevent the host of this tournament from scoring 21 goals, the first one in the eighth minute of the game, and the last one in the 60th minute of the match.

The goals came from UENO Maho x5, MIKAMI Maiko x4, HAYASUKE Sana,MURAYAMA Hiroka,SASAKI Risax2,OSHIMA Natsumi,SUZUKI Sora,KONDO Wakanax2,HIRAMITSU Ai,WAKASA Maix2,HORIKAWA Mayuri.

With a big win the home team earns the first place partially, while Indonesia must win against Hong Kong China. Japan will play against China on June 6th.

The best player of the match was Sasaki Risa who scored two goals in this match.
