The Scotland U21 Women’s squad has been announced for the Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile, this December.
The Scots earned qualification for the women’s Junior World Cup for the first time since 2005 with a sensational gold medal success at U21 EuroHockey Championship II in Konya last year. A tremendous achievement, and now they take their place amongst the best teams in the world in Chile.
Scotland will take to the pitch in Santiago for pool matches on Tuesday 02 December at 21:00 against Spain; Thursday 04 December at 16:30 against Canada; and Saturday 06 December at 16:30 against Australia.
Also featuring at the women’s Junior World Cup is Netherlands; Japan; Chile; Malaysia; Argentina; Belgium; Zimbabwe; Wales; Germany; India; Ireland; Namibia; England; South Africa; China; Austria; United States; Korea; New Zealand; and Uruguay.
