DI: No. 1 Northwestern vs No. 8 Boston College | 12 PM ET | Watch ($)
The top-ranked Wildcats will take on two ranked opponents this weekend, starting with No. 5 Duke on Friday and followed by No. 8 Boston College on Sunday.
It was a good opening match last weekend for the Northwestern newcomers, as freshman Juliana Boon made her debut in goal by tallying a three-save shutout and graduate transfer Grace Schulze notched two goals against Richmond. The Wildcats then went on the defeat VCU, 3-0.
In their 16 all-time meetings, the pair is tied at eight wins apiece. Northwestern has won the last five match-ups.
DIII: No. 8 Bates vs. No. 17 Lynchburg | 12 PM ET | Watch
A 800-mile journey for No. 17 Lynchburg sets up a ranked matchup with No. 8 Bates as the Hornets are off to a 2-0 start under second-year head coach Jenni Releford. Replacing a legend like Enza Steele is no small task, but Releford guided Lynchburg to an at-large bid and first round win in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Lynchburg posted a pair of clean sheets to start the year against Denison and DePauw behind junior goalkeeper Shay Schoones. The ODAC favorites have never played Bates but both are no stranger to postseason success as of late and it figures to be a tight, defensive battle.
