Days 1 & 2: A Powerful Start to the Tournament

The 2025 U18 Nationals kicked off with high intensity as teams across the country took to the field, showcasing their months of preparation and passion.

BC Blue made an early statement with a dominant 15-0 victory over New Brunswick. Standout performances came from Gursukhmani Basra and Madelyn Lee, who both recorded hat tricks, and Neeve Unger, who added four goals.

One of the most exciting matches of Day 1 featured Ontario White and Quebec. Quebec struck first, but Ontario answered back before halftime. In the third quarter, Kristen Anderson gave Quebec the edge, and the team held strong defensively to secure a 2-1 win.

Day 2 brought even more drama and tightly contested games. PEI’s Emily Lutley led her team to a 3-1 win over Quebec with a standout hat trick performances. Meanwhile, Ontario Red edged Alberta 1-0 in a heated match, capitalizing on a penalty corner while managing a series of green and yellow cards on both sides.

Day 4 & 5: High Stakes and Championship Glory

The final stretch of the 2025 U18 Nationals delivered thrilling semi-finals and medal matchups.

BC Blue secured their spot in the final with a dominant 5-0 win over Alberta, while Ontario Red edged PEI in a dramatic shootout after a late-game equalizer forced to tie.

On Finals Day, Alberta took home the bronze with a 3-1 victory over PEI, capping off a strong tournament. The gold medal game featured a much-anticipated rematch of the 2023 final between BC Blue and Ontario Red. Ontario struck first, but BC quickly responded, sending the match to a shootout. With sharp execution and solid goalkeeping, BC came out on top 3-1, securing the 2025 U18 National Championship title.
