“Had a very good meeting with IOC President Thomas Bach during the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. We both had a very positive assessment of how China has organised this event, with wonderful infrastructures in the city and a great legacy plan.
We also discussed about current affairs related to the Olympic movement. We talked about the upcoming Paris Olympics and the planning for the subsequent Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
Furthermore, I took the opportunity of this meeting to update President Bach about the preparations of our inaugural Hockey5s World Cup that will be played in January 2024 in Oman.
