On Sunday we had our first HockeyID get together, with the aim of getting more players more game time, spirits were very high despite the incredibly damp conditions. For some players it was the first time they had played against other players that weren’t from there own Flyerz club.
It was clear that players had been training with a high level skill on show to go alongside the usual high effort level!
Players from the Midlands, South East, London, East and Yorkshire North East joined in the games. The games were very competitive but played in a great spirit with togetherness and support of different players shining through.
We would like to thank our umpires who gave up their time and umpired with as much spirit as the players showed.

There will be further get togethers in the New Year as we strive to get players more meaningful game time.
