England: Premier Division Review – 15th March 2025

It wasn’t unlucky for Old Georgians who extended their winning streak to 13 with a 4-2 win at Hampstead & Westminster. Sam Ward netted all four of OGs goals to leave them seven points clear at the top of the Top 6. Surbiton sit second after they beat Holcombe 4-0 with Struan Walker scoring two of their goals. Wimbledon took advantage of Holcombe’s loss to go above them into third after winning 3-0 at Oxted. Beeston head the Lower 6 after their 4-2 win at bottom of the table Bowdon. They turned around a 2-1 half time deficit and Henry Croft added two more to his goal tally in the process. East Grinstead had an important 4-2 win, over Cardiff & Met, in the battle for a play-off spot. They also came from behind having been 2-0 down after 30 minutes with skipper Simon Faulkner leading the way with two set piece goals. Richmond’s Scott Wall’s 63rd minute corner cancelled out Jack Middleton’s opener for Southgate but leaves them in the relegation spots, five points behind their North London rivals.
