It rained goals again in the Tulp Hoofdklasse last weekend. Struan Walker (Oranje-Rood) and Joep Troost (Pinoké) each scored a hat-trick. In the women’s competition, Amsterdam again were prolific, with another goal from top scorer Trijntje Beljaars.
Tulp Hoofdklasse Women
Amsterdam’s women scored a monster victory on Sunday at HGC (1-8) and top scorer Trijntje Beljaars contributed to that success with one goal. The 21-year-old striker now stands at eight goals, one more than SCHC striker Jip Dicke who also hit one against Oranje-Rood (5-0).
Three of the top six spots on the top scorers list are occupied by players from Amsterdam, which scored at least six goals against HGC for the third away game in a row. The team had not managed that before in its 44-year big league history. Coach Jesse Mahieu’s formation also won by a large margin at Oranje-Rood (1-6) and HDM (0-6) in recent weeks.

Tulp Hoofdklasse Men
List leader Boris Burkhardt added one goal to his league total during the away defeat against Klein Zwitserland (4-3), but saw the competition closing in. Oranje-Rood attacker Struan Walker made three on a visit to Bloemendaal (3-4 win) and Joep Troost took three of Pinoké’s eight goals against Laren (8-3 win). Both attackers now stand at ten goals this season.
For Troost, it was already his fourth hat-trick of the 2025 calendar year, more than any other player in the Hoofdklasse. The 24-year-old striker had already accounted for three hat-tricks in the league duels with Nijmegen (8-1, three goals), Klein Zwitserland (5-2, five goals) and HDM (2-3, three goals) in the spring. Throughout 2025, only Burkhardt can somewhat keep up with Troost’s production. He stands at 22 goals this calendar year, two less than Troost.
