Bloemendaal has strengthened their squad for next season with German striker Elian Mazkour. The 24-year-old striker comes over from Rot-Weiss Köln.
Mazkour, known as a true ‘circle striker’, is considered a goal-oriented and hard-working striker. ‘Scoring is my thing. I am looking forward to building an even stronger attack together with the team,’ said the German, who is also active for the national team.
His move to the Netherlands also means a new life off the pitch. Mazkour is looking forward to the high level of the Hoofdklasse, the atmosphere within Bloemendaal and his new hometown of Amsterdam. ‘It immediately felt like a family club. This is an opportunity you have to seize.’
Board member of top hockey Michiel Hilders is happy with his arrival: ‘Elian has proven he can compete at top level and with his ambition and style of play he fits our club perfectly.’
