With the convincing 0-6 victory over Rotterdam, SCHC’s women made history on Sunday. Thanks in part to that production, the team has already scored 78 times in the Tulp Hoofdklasse this season – a new club record.
Never before in its 22 seasons at the highest level did SCHC reach so many goals. The previous peak was 75 goals, achieved in both 2015-2016 and 2022-2023. So this season, that number has already been surpassed, with one round of play to go. SCHC concludes the league on Saturday with a home match against HDM.
SCHC scored at least four goals in 10 of its 21 games this league. The biggest goal explosions took place in both matches with relegated Huizen: 8-2 in Bilthoven and 0-8 in Huizen. But Rotterdam was also a willing victim: 7-0 and 0-6.

Today’s production comes from a wide front: 12 different players contributed to the record. Especially Yibbi Jansen (21 goals), Jip Dicke (15), Maud van den Heuvel (13) and Pien Dicke (10) had an important share.
SCHC is also the first team this season with four players breaking the ten-goal mark – a rare luxury in the Hoofdklasse. That too has never happened before in the club history of the Bilthoveners.
