Gwalior, 23rd September 2023: HAR Hockey Academy, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, SAI BAL, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat, Salute Hockey Academy and SAI Shakti were victorious in their respective Pool matches on day 4 of the 3rd Khelo India Junior Women’s Hockey League 2023 (Finals) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
The first encounter of the day from Pool A saw HAR Hockey Academy emerge victorious against Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta with a 17-0 scoreline. HAR Hockey Academy’s goals were scored by Pinki (10′, 15′, 24′, 45′, 50′, 57′), Preeti (3′, 33′, 55′), Seema (8′, 29′), Kirty (32′, 52′), Captain Shashi Khasa (1′), Kajal Malik (19′), Bhteri (45′) and Manju (50′) to complete a comfortable victory.
In the second match of the day from Pool A, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat HIM Academy 9-1. The goals for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy were scored by Gurmail Kaur (11′, 22′, 41′, 46′, 59′), Aanchal Sahu (9′, 59′), and Captain Soniya Kumre (47′, 59′) while Sallu Pukhrambam (14,) scored the lone goal for HIM Academy.
The third and final Pool A clash of the day saw SAI BAL beat Round Glass Punjab Hockey Club Academy 2-0. The goal scorers for SAI Bal were Subila Tirkey (15′) and Amisha Yadav (29′) who ensured three points for SAI BAL.
The fourth match of the day was a Pool B clash where Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat beat Citizen Hockey XI 8-0. Khushi (13′, 37′, 39′), Diksha (17′, 26′), Sakshi (35′), Dinika (44′) and Manjinder (54′) scored the goals for Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat.
In the fifth match of the day, Salute Hockey Academy beat Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy 6-0. The victory for Salute Hockey Academy was driven by goals from Alka (20′, 29′, 60′), Pooja (18′), Manpreet Kaur (35′) and Captain Anmoldeep Kaur (42′).
The final match of the day saw SAI Shakti comfortably beat Republican Sports Club 11-0. Kanika Siwach (9′, 42′), Manisha (19′, 33′), Z Laldintluangi (34′, 53′), Selestina Horo (38′), Nidhi (45′), Lalrinpuii (49′), Monika Tirkey (52′) and Captain Priyanka Dogra (59′) scored the goals for SAI Shakti.
