The big countdown has begun to the denouement of the season. Thursday the ladies of Den Bosch and SCHC play for the league gold. The same goes for the men of Amsterdam and Kampong. Both duels can be seen live on NPO1 and Viaplay.
At 12:45 you should be all set on the couch. Because then a decision will irrevocably fall in the women’s final. In the first meeting SCHC and Den Bosch kept each other in check. It ended 1-1 in a game that was all about searching and chess. Thursday there is no reason to hold the cards to the chest anymore. Around 2 p.m. the new women’s national champion will be announced. Den Bosch made that happen 22 times before. For SCHC, that title would be a first.
If you have done some shopping or walked the dog, make sure you are back in your seat at 4 p.m.. Because that’s when Kampong and Amsterdam battle for the bowl. The first game was delicious, passionate and goal-rich. After sixty steaming minutes there was a 4-3 score for Kampong on the boards. So the Utrechters, the reigning champions, travel to Wagener Stadium with a head start. There, some 6,600 fans will enjoy sixty fantastic league minutes. Both NPO1 and Viaplay will broadcast the finals from the first to the last minute.
