Previous editions

For the girls, the thirteenth edition of the European Championship will be played. The first edition was in 2002 in Rotterdam. Germany claimed the first title at the expense of the Netherlands, which captured a total of eight European titles, making it the record holder. With a fifth place finish in 2023, the Netherlands finished outside the medals for the first time. Germany is the only other European champion among the girls. The country won four titles including gold in the last two editions.

The 13th edition is also scheduled for the boys. The first was also in 2002 and in Rotterdam, where Ireland surprisingly claimed the first European title. The Netherlands finished third in that tournament. Orange Boys U18 won the tournament twice: in 2003 and 2005. Only in 2011 did the team finish outside the medals. Germany holds the European record with five titles.
